Double success for tourism website

Yorkshire.com was the only winner of two awards at the prestigious TravelMole Web awards in London.

The Welcome to Yorkshire website was nominated for three awards – the highest number of nominations at the ceremony – and came away with two, the only double winners of the evening.

It successfully defended the award it won last year for best tourism website and picked up an additional award for best use of video. It narrowly lost out in the best use of mobile technology category.
